Institute for the Psychology of Politics

This site is devoted to the analysis of political phenomena from the perspective of psychological science. We are committed to empowering the public through an understanding of the psychological processes behind politics, politicians' behavior, the mass media, public opinion, political identity, group conflict and conflict resolution, and political action. To this end, we comment on political developments and reports in the mass media as they occur, but also try to provide a broader, theoretical framework from which to understand politics.
